Just realized I've been using my dishwasher's rinse aid dispenser wrong for 6 years

I found out last week that the little screw cap under the sink isn't for adding dish soap, it's actually for rinse aid. My glasses came out spotty for years until my sister laughed at me during Thanksgiving cleanup. Anyone else make this dumb mistake?

Oh man I totally thought that was for dish soap too.

The tiny print on the bottom of the bottle is where I messed up. I grabbed the big orange bottle from the grocery store soap aisle. Used it for a whole week before my husband noticed it said "car wash" on the back. Suds were way different than regular dish soap. Now I keep them on separate shelves so I don't make that mistake again.
