TIL putting a binder clip on the edge of my desk stops my charging cable from falling behind it every time.

I got sick of crawling under my desk at work 3 times a week to fish out my phone charger, so I clipped a binder clip to the edge and ran the cable through the metal loop, and it has not dropped once in two months has anyone else found a random office supply that solves a dumb problem like this?

Four months ago I used a paperclip to keep my earbuds untangled and I felt like a genius for about 30 seconds until I realized I just spent ten minutes bending a piece of wire. Now I keep a binder clip on my desk too, but I mostly just fidget with it when I'm bored in meetings. It's basically become my most productive office supply and that says a lot about my work ethic.

Ngl the binder clip fidgeting is way more useful than the earbud fix ever was.
