Just realized I've been wasting money on paper towels for years

Spent $35 on a pack of 12 bar mops and they've saved me from buying paper towels for the last 6 months. Anyone else made the switch and found it actually works better for cleaning?

You bought bar mops and they worked for six months? I grabbed a 24 pack of microfiber cloths from the hardware store for $12 and they're still going strong after a year. Way better for dusting too, just toss them in the wash when they get grimy. Paper towels never get a surface clean like these do.

Yeah I tried microfiber cloths too and they ARE great for dusting. But I found they get kinda nasty if you use them on greasy kitchen messes too much. Bar mops actually held up way better for me when I was wiping down counters after cooking. I just buy a 12 pack of those cheap white ones from the restaurant supply store for like 8 bucks and they last me almost a year. Microfiber is fine for light stuff but for heavy duty cleaning I stick with the cotton bar mops. Plus you can bleach the bar mops without wrecking them which is HUGE for keeping them from smelling funky.
