Unpopular opinion: that whole 'meal prep Sunday' thing is overrated for me
I tried doing the meal prep thing last week because everyone in this sub swears by it. I spent like 4 hours on Sunday cooking chicken and chopping veggies and portioning everything into containers. By Wednesday I was so sick of eating the same dry chicken and soggy broccoli that I just ordered pizza instead. Then half the food I prepped went bad in the fridge by Friday and I tossed it. I get that it works for some people but for me it felt like I wasted a whole Sunday afternoon for nothing. Has anyone else tried meal prep and just given up on it? I'd rather cook fresh every night even if it takes more time.

Ugh I did the same thing last month, my Wednesday pizza was basically a cry for help after choking down that sad chicken. Now my "meal prep" is just pre-washing my lettuce and calling it a win.

I mean, do you find yourself actually eating better that week or does the pre-washed lettuce just make you feel less guilty about ordering takeout three nights in a row?
