Hot take: using a regular spoon to scoop coffee is better than the fancy one that came with the can

My coffee can came with a little plastic scoop that holds exactly one tablespoon. I used it for months, but it always gets grounds stuck in the handle. Last week I grabbed a regular metal soup spoon from the drawer instead. It's faster, cleans easier, and I can actually fit it in the bag without spilling. Am I crazy for ditching the 'right' tool, or does anyone else have a simple swap that just works better?

Totally get that. It feels like half the stuff that comes with products is just there to make it seem fancy, not to actually work better. My coffee maker has a special basket they say you have to use, but a cheap mesh one from the grocery store never clogs up. Why do we keep the junk that makes the job harder?

My buddy had the same issue with his protein powder. He switched to a regular kitchen spoon after the tiny scoop fell in the tub for the tenth time. Now he swears by the big spoon and calls the other one junk.
