Question about the person who always stands right behind you in line
I was at the grocery store in Springfield yesterday, and this guy was basically breathing down my neck while I unloaded my cart. I turned and said 'Could you give me a little space, please?' and he just shrugged and said 'It's a public place.' I had to stop and take a deep breath before I could even finish paying. Has anyone else had to deal with someone who doesn't get basic line manners?

The Springfield Walmart always seems to attract the close talkers. That guy probably measures personal space in millimeters. Next time just start coughing a lot and see if he backs up. His idea of a public place must be a subway car at rush hour.

Ugh, I feel you on this one. Some people just have no sense of personal space at all. Maybe he grew up in a really crowded house or something, I don't know.

Close talkers at Walmart are hardly a crisis, the_john. Maybe the guy just needs glasses.
