Shoutout to the guy who told me changing a shower cartridge would take 10 minutes

Spent two hours under my sink last Saturday because the old cartridge was basically fused in place. Ended up having to cut the whole valve out and replace it. So much for a quick fix. Anyone else been mislead by "easy" plumbing projects?

Penetrating oil and a breaker bar finally got mine loose lol

Buddy of mine tried that on his truck, soaked it for three days straight and still snapped the bolt clean off. Had to drill it out and helicoil the whole thing.
