The gas station coffee pot was full of grounds again

Stopped at the Quick Fill on Elm Street this morning for a quick cup. The coffee looked okay, but my first sip was pure sludge. I had to check the pot and the whole bottom was just a thick layer of wet grounds. This happens at that place like once a week. How hard is it to change a filter? Anyone know a spot with actually clean coffee around here?

Check the pot before you pour, and @aaron_gonzalez, maybe they're just giving you free coffee grounds for your garden.

You said it happens once a week, so they must have a schedule! Mondays are for fresh coffee, Tuesdays they add the first layer of sludge. By Friday you're basically drinking wet dirt. I guess they think we want extra fiber with our caffeine. Maybe they're training us to chew our coffee instead of drinking it.
