Why does nobody talk about the moral math of keeping leftover takeout condiments?

I used to hoard extra sauces guilt-free, but watching a small restaurant owner count every packet changed my habit for good.

I used to grab a huge handful too lol. Seeing how much those packets actually cost the business made me scale it way back. Now I just take what I know I'll use for that meal.
