Caught a horse owner trying to use human nail clippers on a hoof crack last week

Can't even wrap my head around someone thinking that's okay. You're telling me they looked at a horse's hoof, saw a crack, and reached for human nail clippers? What did they think was gonna happen, a little trim and a file and the horse would be good to go? That's a good way to make the crack split right up the leg. I've seen what happens when hooves aren't handled right and it's never pretty. Hope you set them straight before anyone got hurt.

Saw a guy try to use a pocketknife on a goat hoof once, @black.mark, and it ended about as well as you'd expect.
