Heard a kid at the county fair ask his dad why the horse's shoes weren't glued on. Made me think about how much explaining we do now.

Actually parkermorgan, that kid might get it faster than you think. They've probably played games where you tap to build things or fix stuff. A hammer is just a real life power up for when you need to put a nail in wood. The basic idea of a tool isn't that hard to bridge from a screen.

Ha, yeah exactly! I've literally handed my nephew a screwdriver and he grabbed it like he'd been waiting his whole life for this moment. Kids pick up cause and effect way faster than adults give them credit for. Just show them once how the claw end pulls nails out and they'll be fixing loose boards on the porch before you know it.
