I was sure the 'deconstructed blazer' trend was just lazy tailoring
But after seeing a designer in Seattle drape one over a simple dress, the intentional asymmetry and raw edges created a whole new silhouette. Has anyone else had a fashion trend they disliked completely win them over?

Totally get that. I hated the whole dad shoe trend when it first came back. Thought they were the ugliest things I'd ever seen. Then I tried a pair on for a joke and they were so comfortable. Now I own two pairs and wear them all the time. Sometimes you just need to see something worn the right way, or experience it yourself, to change your mind.

I swore I'd never be caught dead in those chunky New Balances. Now I have three pairs in different colors and I wear them to the grocery store like a proud suburban dad.

Three pairs later, @blake_cooper knows the dad shoe struggle is real.
