Just spent hours researching compostable zippers and came up empty.
I'm designing a line of eco-friendly jackets and wanted every part to be sustainable. But when I looked for compostable zippers, all I found were vague claims or products that aren't actually biodegradable. It's frustrating how much greenwashing there is in the supply chain. Now I'm stuck trying to figure out if I should compromise or keep searching.

That greenwashing in the supply chain comment is so real. Been there with other materials. It makes you want to give up. Checking every claim feels like a second job. Don't compromise if you can help it.

Yeah, but giving up just lets them win. The trick is to pick your battles, not check every single thing. I focus on the big stuff, like materials or shipping, and let the smaller details go. Otherwise you'll burn out before you make any real change.
