My latest collection sketchbook hit 50 pages and honestly, that's too many

Everyone says more ideas are better, but flipping through it, I realized maybe 15 of those pages are actually solid concepts. The rest are just meandering repeats or stuff that doesn't fit my brand's vibe at all. Has anyone else found a sweet spot for how much to sketch before you start editing?

Fifty pages sounds like a crazy amount to sift through. The real work starts when you have to kill most of those ideas. Editing it down to the good stuff is the only way forward.

Sounds like a creative massacre. You're basically the Thanos of your own notes, snapping half of it away. Hope you're not too attached to any of those darlings.
