Finally had the chicken sandwich at Popeyes after thinking it was overrated for a year

Honestly, I was that person who kept saying the Popeyes chicken sandwich was just hype and not worth the wait. But last Tuesday I was stuck in a drive thru line for 25 minutes because a friend swore I was missing out. I finally got the spicy sandwich with pickles and ate it in my car parked outside. The breading actually stayed crunchy even after I drove home 10 minutes away. I think what changed my mind was how the spicy mayo mixed with the pickle juice on the bun. It hit different than I expected and now I get why people fought over these things. Has anyone else had a fast food item they refused to try for months and then ended up loving it?

25 minutes for a chicken sandwich" is insane, I would have left too. I waited 20 minutes at a Popeyes once and the guy behind me got his order before me.
