I finally tried the spicy chicken sandwich from Popeyes after avoiding it for ages

I mean, I always thought it was just hype, but my friend got one in front of me last Tuesday and the smell alone made me cave. I took one bite and idk, the crunch and that pepper sauce were way better than the one I usually get from the place down the street. Has anyone else had a fast food item they swore off but then totally loved?

Right? It was wild reading about how they basically invented the whole idea of putting fries right on the sandwich. That one move made every other place have to step up their game.
