I tried the new spicy chicken sandwich at Burger Barn three times last week

Every single time, the heat level was completely different. The first one was mild, the second felt like they used ghost pepper, and the third was back to mild again. I asked the manager at the location on Main Street and he said the prep cook just wings the sauce amount. It made me realize consistency is a huge part of ranking a place. How can a chain be in the top ten if you never know what you're getting? Has anyone else had a totally wild experience with a menu item that should be the same every time?

Used to think taste was all that mattered. But you're right, what's the point if you can't trust it to be the same?
