My friend said my fast food order was boring and I had to prove him wrong

We were at a Wendy's in Springfield and I always get the same chicken sandwich meal. He looked at my tray and said, 'You could get that anywhere, man.' So the next time, I tried their new Pretzel Bacon Pub burger. It was way better than I expected, and the beer cheese sauce was actually good. Now I make a point to try the limited-time item at least once a month. What's the best LTO you've tried recently that actually lived up to the hype?

My buddy called my usual burger and fries a snooze-fest. I switched it up and tried the spicy chicken sandwich at Popeyes when it came back. That thing is no joke, the heat builds up but the crunch is perfect. I was sweating by the end but totally won over. Now I'm hooked on their blackened ranch sauce too.

Did you actually like the Pretzel Bacon Pub or were you just trying to prove a point? I feel like sometimes people get caught up in winning the argument and forget to be honest about whether the new thing was actually good. I've done that before, ordered something wild just to show off and ended up regretting it halfway through. What was the real dealbreaker on that burger for you, was it the beer cheese or the pretzel bun?

Oh man, the McRib. I know it's a meme at this point. But I finally tried one last fall. The sauce is weirdly sweet but it works. The pickles and onions give it a good crunch. Honestly, it's a solid sandwich. I get the hype now.
