Nobody ever mentions the bun to meat ratio at chicken places...

I keep ordering spicy chicken sandwiches and finding a huge bun with a skinny little patty inside. At the Popeyes on Main Street last Tuesday, I literally took the top bun off and just ate the bottom half with the chicken. Is there a chain that actually gets the bread to chicken balance right?

So are you saying the smaller patty is the real problem or is it that Popeyes specifically has been skimping on the meat lately?

Funny you mention that @oliver_anderson, because I've noticed the same thing at a bunch of fast food places lately. It's not just Popeyes, it feels like everywhere is trimming portions to save a buck while keeping prices the same. A buddy of mine works at a chicken spot and said they're told to put less meat on sandwiches by default now. Something about corporate profit targets, you know?
