Remember when Taco Bell's nacho cheese was actually spicy?

I got a nacho bellgrande last week and the cheese was just orange goop. It made me think of the old recipe from maybe 15 years ago that had a real kick. The new stuff tastes like nothing, just salty and thick. Anyone else notice this change or am I just getting old?

Yeah it's not just you, that cheese is totally different now. I mean idk maybe my taste changed too but it just tastes like nothing.

Ugh, tell me about it @jones.blake. I swear they swapped the real cheese for some weird waxy stuff that just sits there. It's like they forgot to add the flavor part.

Man you sound like you did a full lab analysis on some fast food cheese. It's nacho cheese from a drive through, not a Michelin star sauce. Maybe you just hit a bad batch or the person at the register sneezed in it or something. I eat Taco Bell like once a month and I honestly cannot tell you what the cheese tasted like five years ago versus today. It all tastes like vaguely orange salt to me.
