Tried the new burger from that drive-thru place I always hated

I thought Culver's was overhyped for years. Their butter burger actually slaps though. Got one last Tuesday and the patty was crispy on the edges. What's a fast food item you wrote off and then changed your mind on?

My buddy swore up and down that Arby's was trash, like he'd get legit mad if you suggested it. Then one night he was drunk and desperate, grabbed a Beef 'n Cheddar by accident. He called me the next day all confused saying the curly fries were actually hot and crispy for once and the meat had that smoky flavor. Now he hits the drive thru there once a week but only at like 2pm when they're fresh.

Did you eat one fresh though? I had Culver's twice and both times the bun was SOGGY like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for an hour. The patty was thin and dry, not crispy at all. I swear people only hype it because they like the custard and feel guilty leaving a bad review. Their fries are basically wet shoestrings too. I'll take a soggy Wendy's burger over that any day, at least it has some flavor.
