Can we talk about loose hardware on manual post hole diggers?
I restore old tools as a hobby, and I nearly had a bad accident while helping with a fence. My favorite digger had a loose bolt on the auger that I didn't notice at first. If it had come out, the blade could have flown off and hurt someone. Now I always tighten everything before I start a job. You should do the same to keep things safe.

Check those bolts every time. It's just not worth the risk.

Seriously, I learned that the hard way last year with a loose handlebar clamp. It felt fine at home but started shaking badly on a steep downhill. Took it to the shop and they found two more bolts that were almost completely out. Makes you a little paranoid, but in a good way.

Paranoid in a good way" is just bike life now. I've started checking my bolts more than my phone.
