Hot take: I thought those 'no dig' post anchors were a total gimmick until a job in Phoenix last week.

We had to set 40 posts in pure caliche and the manual auger was a nightmare, but the screw-in anchors went in with an impact driver in like 10 minutes each. Anyone else tried these on really hard ground?

We had a job last year with 25 posts in Texas limestone. I told my crew we were gonna try those anchors as a last resort. The regular auger just bounced off the rock. Those screw anchors cut right in with a demo hammer attachment. Changed my whole view on them. Sometimes the new way is just better, you know?

Honestly those anchors saved our butts on a rocky hillside job last summer.
