Spent $800 on a laser level for a big commercial job and it just added a whole new way to be wrong.
The crew spent more time arguing over the calibration and the stupid tripod than we ever did just running a string line, so has anyone else had a fancy tool turn into a total time sink on site?

Ugh, tell me about it... I read one last week that was just a giant circle. Spent twenty minutes on it and all it said was "experts are looking into it." Like, yeah, no kidding... I already knew it was a problem, that's why I clicked! Felt like I got tricked into reading an ad for more articles.
