My realtor said to offer $15k over asking, but my gut said to stick at list price
We went with the higher offer and got the house in Austin, but I still wonder if we overpaid. Has anyone else won a bid by just matching the asking price lately?

Listen to your realtor every time. @jenny_sullivan97 shows the market is still wild. You got the house, so stop worrying about it now.

How crazy is the Austin market right now? I used to think offering at asking was fine, but my friend just lost a bid after going 20k over.
