Remember when we used to cut laminate with a handsaw on a piece of scrap?

I was cleaning out the truck and found my old Stanley handsaw. Back in the early 2000s, that was my go-to for laminate cuts on site, using a scrap piece of plywood as a bench. I switched to a basic miter saw around 2008 after a big job in Tempe where we had to do 40 door jambs in a day. The speed and clean edge just made it impossible to go back. Do you still have any old tools you keep around just for the memories?

Found my dad's old coping saw in the basement last week. The handle is worn smooth from his hands. Just can't bring myself to get rid of it.

Oh come on, it's just an old saw. Are you really going to keep every worn-out thing?
