Cleaning out the shop and found our old flower supplier catalogs from the 90s
I was tidying up the back storage area and came across a stack of those thick paper catalogs. We used to flip through them every Monday to place orders by phone. Now everything is digital and ordered online in minutes. Like, I don't even talk to a person half the time, it's all automated. It's way more efficient, but I miss the personal chats with the sales reps. Lmao, maybe that's just me being sentimental. What do you guys think, has the trade lost some of its personal touch?

But isn't saving time worth losing some chit-chat?

My dentist's office switched to text reminders and I missed my last cleaning because it felt like spam. The old receptionist used to call and ask how my dog's surgery went. That five minute chat meant I actually showed up.
