Finally hit 50 custom wedding orders for the year, which is wild to me

I just counted them up and it's mostly from word of mouth, which feels really good. My favorite was a bouquet last month with locally foraged ferns. Does anyone else track a specific number that makes you feel like you're on the right track?

But what if the number is proof of that quality? Fifty happy clients means fifty good connections. That's a solid track record you can actually see.

That's a cool milestone, but I've always been wary of counting orders. My first year in business, I chased a high number and ended with 40 exhausted clients and a bunch of work I wasn't proud of. Now I aim for maybe 20 projects where the vision really clicks, like that couple who wanted their late dog's collar flowers worked into the centerpieces. For me, the right track feels like the quality of the connection, not the quantity of invoices.
