Why does nobody talk about the shift from baby's breath to eucalyptus?
I looked back at my photos from two years ago and almost every bridal bouquet had baby's breath filler. Now, eight out of ten orders ask for seeded eucalyptus instead. A bride last week told me she saw it on Pinterest and wanted that 'airy, natural look'. Did social media really change filler trends that fast? What are you all using now for that light filler feel?

Tried using silver dollar eucalyptus last month. Gives that light look without wilting as fast. Pinterest trends move quick but that one actually holds up.

Silver dollar eucalyptus dries out and turns brown just as fast as anything else in my experience. That light look comes from it already being half dead when you buy it. Pinterest trends are mostly about looks that don't last in real life. You're better off with classic greens that actually stay fresh for more than a few days.

Totally feel you on the Pinterest stuff, @elliot_murray. Half those trendy plants are a total scam and die in two days. That silver dollar eucalyptus does seem to last a bit longer though, got to give it that. Still ends up looking sad and crispy in my vase after a week, just like everything else. Maybe we're all just buying from the wrong places.
