My little brother talked me into trying peanut butter on a burger last summer. I was sure it would be awful, but that first bite was amazing, like a salty, sweet, savory explosion. By the time I got halfway through, all I could taste was sticky peanut butter and it totally ruined the meat. Some things are just meant to be a one-time taste, not the whole meal.
That "salty, sweet, savory explosion" you described sounds perfect. Do you think it would work better if the peanut butter was just a thin spread, or is the whole idea doomed after a few bites?
