My parking spot was empty then full then empty again in five minutes. What gives?

Ugh this is the story of city living honestly. It's like everyone's doing these weird micro-errands constantly. I'll see a car pull over just to grab a package off a porch, or someone in a pickup truck stopping for literally 30 seconds to drop something at a curb. The other day I watched a guy parallel park, run into a bodega, and come out with just a single soda. The whole flow of traffic and parking feels totally frantic now.

You know, I used to hate that stuff and thought people were just being lazy. But managing a few buildings showed me it's often delivery apps or people squeezing in a task between jobs. I see tenants now who get three separate food deliveries a day, or a courier running in to leave a laptop. It completely reshaped how I see those quick stops blocking a driveway. It's not just errands, it's this whole other layer of work and services happening.
