A logo project turned my view on detailed illustrations upside down

I thought simple shapes were the only way for good logos. Working on a cafe brand, the owner wanted a detailed coffee plant drawing. At first, I worried it would look messy on small screens. But we made it work with clean lines and limited colors. Now I see detailed art can add unique character if done right. Try sketching your idea first, then simplify it step by step.

Totally! Always test at tiny sizes first.

What's the smallest size you've tested? I learned the hard way that even simple shapes can blur if you don't check them on actual fabric first. Always do a test print on the final product if you can!

Glad it worked for your cafe project, but that detailed approach often falls apart in real use. Try getting that coffee plant embroidered on a hat or faxed on a letterhead, @the_gray. Simple shapes aren't just a style choice, they're about surviving every bad print and tiny screen.
