I finally admitted how much I love watching daytime talk shows again

Lately I've noticed more clips from them popping up online, and I let myself watch a full episode as a treat. Finishing a whole season felt like a small win, even if it's not highbrow. Does anyone else have a low-key show they secretly enjoy?

All theater is staged, but we don't see art critics at every puppet show.

In my early twenties, I'd catch 'Maury' reruns at 3 PM sharp... it was my daily break. I totally get why you'd let yourself enjoy something simple like that. My current guilty pleasure is those home renovation marathons on basic cable. Sometimes you just need a show that doesn't make you think too hard. Honestly, who cares if it's not fancy TV?

Those shows are mostly staged drama anyway. It's just manufactured conflict, a total waste of time.
