Vent: My cousin won't let up about investing in his friend's app

He keeps telling me it's a sure thing and I should put money in now. I think he gets a cut if I invest, which feels wrong. How do I deal with this without starting a fight?

Family pressure makes this so much harder than a normal sales pitch. He's using your relationship as the reason to trust him, not the app's actual merits. Try asking to see the business plan first, it moves the talk to facts instead of feelings.
