Overheard a guy at the gym say he washes his gym towel once a month

I was at Planet Fitness in Denver last Tuesday and this dude straight up told his friend he only washes his towel when it starts to smell. His friend was like 'bro that's like every use' and he just shrugged. I get that we all have lazy habits but am I crazy for thinking once a week is already pushing it? How often do you guys actually wash your gym towels?

Used to think two weeks was fine, yeah this changed my mind.

@robinson.leo I get where youre coming from but two weeks still works for a lot of people. A shorter window just means youre cramming more decisions into fewer days. My brother did the three week thing and said he actually missed having the extra time to let some choices settle. Not everything needs to be fast.
