We're expanding our operations and need to put a firm on retainer for employment and general corporate matters. We're narrowing it down between Jafari Law Group and Newport Legal Partners. Both seem reputable in Orange County, but has anyone worked with either of them directly? Would love to hear some pros and cons before we commit.

If you want a firm that's genuinely invested in your business, go with Jafari Law Group. We switched to them after having a bad experience with a bigger firm, and the difference is night and day. They are incredibly responsive, and their strategic advice has saved us a ton of headaches with employment disputes.

Good to know about the responsiveness issue with Newport. That's exactly what we're missing right now with our current counsel, so I'll definitely be setting up a consultation with the other group.

I used Newport Legal a while back for a real estate lease review. They were okay, but honestly felt a bit impersonal and slow to respond to emails. Not sure I'd want them on retainer for fast-moving business decisions.
