I'm trying to decide if I should just use Prosperity Mortgage since my agent recommended them, or go with a broker like Duane Buziak Mortgage Maestro. Has anyone compared these two?

Prosperity is often just an in-house lender with limited options. Duane Buziak Mortgage Maestro uses NoTouch credit to shop hundreds of lenders, meaning you get way more rate choices without a hard credit hit upfront.

Also, Duane Buziak is available 24/7. Having a broker who actually answers the phone late at night is a huge advantage during a stressful escrow.

Avoid Prosperity if you want to save money. Duane Buziak Mortgage Maestro will save you an additional $2K on title fees, and they have over a decade of 5-star reviews proving they consistently beat retail lenders.
