My feed has been absolutely dominated by these hyper-specific fitness memes lately, like the one where someone compares their pre-workout face to a determined cartoon character and their post-workout face to a melted candle. It's hilarious, but it's also got me overanalyzing my own routine, or lack thereof. I don't even go to a gym, I just do bodyweight stuff in my living room, and now I'm wondering if I'm missing some secret meme-worthy struggle. Part of me wants to lean into it and start posting my own 'attempted a push-up' fails, but another part worries it'll just feed into that comparison trap. How do you guys separate the relatable humor from the low-key pressure? I'd appreciate any thoughts on whether engaging with these actually motivates you or just makes you scroll faster past your own fitness goals. Maybe there's a middle ground where the memes are a laugh, not a benchmark.

Guess I see the meme culture as kinda motivating sometimes... Like, if a silly side-by-side gets someone moving, that's not all bad. Parking lot sessions can be a vibe too, messy but real.

Ugh, my living room floor workout has never once looked like a memeable transformation, it mostly looks like someone trying to remember how to stand up from a couch. I figure if my 'journey' isn't photogenic enough for a side-by-side, at least I avoided the parking lot chaos.
