Parallel parking without a single adjustment felt like a silent triumph after all the stress.

I practiced for hours in my neighborhood, only to consistently misjudge the distance on my first few attempts each time. Managing to slide into a tight spot seamlessly today was a real win, even if the lead-up was packed with mild frustration. What everyday task did you struggle with before it suddenly clicked?

Lol that mirror trick never worked for me. Still feel like I'm solving a puzzle every time. Maybe some of us are just meant to circle the block forever.

My 2008 Corolla has seen more curb rash than a skate park thanks to my parallel parking attempts. I'd consistently leave a foot of space behind me, then panic and overcorrect into the curb. After six months of this, I watched a YouTube video that emphasized using the side mirrors differently. Suddenly, it made sense, and now I park like a pro, albeit with permanent tire damage. I still avoid parallel parking on busy streets just in case my newfound skill is a fluke.
