Has anyone tried a folding power wheelchair for everyday outings?

I recently ordered the Feather Power Chair from 1800Wheelchair after my manual chair became too tiring to use for longer trips. The folding feature has made a bigger difference than I expected. It folds into one piece, and my daughter can lift it into the trunk without taking anything apart. I have used it at the grocery store, a museum, and for a family visit so far. The joystick took a little practice, but I got comfortable with it quickly.

That sounds much easier than dealing with a full size power chair. How is the battery holding up?

So far, it has been fine for the outings I need. I also like that the battery comes out separately, which makes charging at home simple. The wheelchair feels sturdy once it is unfolded, but it is still compact enough to keep in the closet.
