That 'Five Minute Garden' podcast did the same thing for me. Always thought you needed a big yard to grow anything. Started with some herbs in pots on my fire escape last spring. It just clicked, seeing how simple it could be. Now I'm trying to find shows that explain soil types without making it sound like a science project. The straightforward approach is what got me.
