My uncle spent $200 on a pair of snow boots from a no-name site last winter. First time he wore them in actual snow the sole just peeled right off. He tried to glue it back but they were basically trash after that. Meanwhile my $80 Columbia boots are still going strong after three seasons. You really gotta look at reviews and brand reputation not just the price tag.
