Nailed a sourdough starter on the first try after 4 failed batches in a row

I followed this random YouTube dude from Portland who said to use pineapple juice instead of water for day 1 and 2, and it actually worked. Now I'm wondering if the whole 'starter takes 2 weeks' thing is just a myth or if I got lucky.

Pineapple juice is a GAME CHANGER for the first few days, it gives the yeast a huge head start. My starter was bubbling on day 3 with that method and ready to bake by day 5.

Nah, disagree with @viola_butler, think you just got lucky honestly.
