During a late-night food walk in Mexico City, a vendor's story stuck with me...

I was out trying street tacos alone after a long day... the al pastor spot was still packed at midnight. The guy making them saw me looking confused at the salsa choices and just started talking... he told me how his dad taught him to grill the meat a certain way, back in their hometown. We ended up chatting for like twenty minutes while he worked... it wasn't just about the food, you know? It felt like I got a peek into his whole life through those few minutes. That's the part I remember most, not just how the tacos tasted. Makes you think... what's the best person-to-person moment you've had while eating on the street?

Lowkey used to only care about the taste, but your story shows the human touch.

Yeah, the human touch changes how we experience things.

Totally agree with @the_xena on the human touch, like when a curry seller told me about his mom's secret spice mix.
