Am I the only one who finds sleuthing easier after a home organization spree?

Maybe it's just me, but tidying up my research corner while deep-cleaning the closet helped me notice a detail I'd missed for months.

A neuroscience podcast last year talked about this. They said a tidy space cuts down on stuff your brain has to sort through, so you can see clues better. Your clean closet story totally fits that idea.

My desk in the study is always a mess, but I actually solve cases faster when it's messy. Last week, I found a key clue buried under some old notes I hadn't filed away. For me, the random stuff lying around sparks links I'd miss if everything was neat. Maybe my brain just works better in clutter, lol.

Wait, @sandrawilson, you solve cases? That's way more intense than my messy desk just having old coffee cups. Clutter helping catch people is wild.
