Eggshells in the soil fixed my tomato rot problem.

Crushed eggshells prevent blossom end rot by adding calcium.

Did you crush those eggshells into dust or just leave them in big chunks? I tossed in whole halves once like an idiot and spent all summer picking sharp pieces out of the dirt. My tomatoes still got rot, so maybe my plants just know I'm a hopeless case. I swear they wilt out of spite when I walk by. Guess some of us shouldn't be allowed near a garden bed.

That "just bought" feeling is the best. I grabbed a few bags of the pelletized kind last month and my garden has gone totally wild in the best way. Everything just looks greener and healthier, like it finally got a proper meal. Man, that stuff is magic for perking up tired soil. It felt like a chore spreading it all, but seeing the results now makes it so worth the effort.
