PSA: The loading times in that new space VR world are a huge buzzkill

I jumped into that new space exploration VR world everyone's hyped about. But flying between planets involves sitting through crazy long loading screens. It pulls you right out of the experience when you're supposed to be cruising through stars. My friend and I timed it, and one jump took two whole minutes. That's longer than a bathroom break. It makes me avoid traveling to new areas just to skip the wait. They gotta speed this up or people will bail fast.

Disagree, I see those loading screens in a DIFFERENT way. They give me a minute to breathe and get ready for the next planet. It makes the space trip feel more REAL, like you are actually going a long way. Yes, two minutes is a long wait, but I use that time to check my gear or chat with my friend. For me, it ADDS to the fun instead of ruining it. The wait makes finding a new area feel like a bigger deal.

Exactly @jennye85, we're trained to hate any wait now.

Hearing that the wait makes new areas feel special reminded me of my friend's story. He got so bored during a two-minute load that he took off his headset to check his phone. When the game loaded, he missed the cue and knocked over his lamp, which is so like @sullivan.daniel saying we hate waits now. Can you call that fun when you're cleaning up broken glass instead of flying through stars?
