DAE spend way too long using the wrong screwdriver bits?
For like 3 years I was using phillips bits on torx screws because I thought they were close enough. A old timer at a supply house in Columbus watched me strip a screw and straight up told me I was an idiot. Now I keep a full set of Wiha bits in the truck and havent stripped a single one since. Anyone else have a moment where a simple tool swap saved them hours of headache?

Tried that same thing on a dryer once, stripped the whole damn thing.

Oh man, I did the exact same thing with a set of IKEA furniture years ago. Spent two hours fighting a stripped hex bolt before my neighbor came over and just handed me the right Allen key.
