First solo fridge compressor swap in 14 years of doing this

Last Tuesday in Cleveland I finally did a full compressor replacement on a Samsung RF28 without any backup. I've dodged those jobs for ages, always handed them to my old partner. Started at 8am, recovered the R134a, pulled the dome, and braized the new unit in by noon. The vacuum pull held steady at 500 microns for 20 minutes, which felt like a huge win. Anyone else still get nervous cracking open a sealed system even after doing it for years?
