Found a way to fix dishwasher leaks without replacing the whole sump
For like 3 years I'd just swap out the entire sump assembly whenever a leak showed up, $120 part plus an hour of my time. Last month on a Bosch in Bellevue, I noticed the leak was only from the drain pump gasket, not the sump itself. I pulled the pump, hit the gasket with some silicone grease, and torqued it back to spec. Been dry for 4 weeks now, saved the customer a ton. Anyone else try just replacing gaskets on these newer models instead of the full assembly?

You've been swapping whole sumps for 3 years and never tried the gasket first?
